The most famous sneakers of all time, immortalized in the 1985 film “Back to the Future” have finally made their way off the silver screen and into production. The replica of the Nike MAG sneaker featured in the film and worn by Michael J. Fox’s character Marty McFly was put into production by the footwear brand. Only 1,500 pairs were made, and 150 pairs will be auctioned per day via eBay until they’re gone. Proceeds from the sales will go to Michael J Fox’s research foundation for Parkinsons.

The first pair were snatched up by British rapper Tinie Tempah for $37,500.
The sneakers don’t lace themselves up like they do in the film, but they do have blue LED lights that glow for five hours per charge.
