“Tebowing” Officially A Word

The Tim Tebow phenomenon continues… The Global Language Monitor website said that “Tebowing,” the act of taking a knee in prayer during an athletic competition, is now an official word in the English language.

A press release from the site said that the quick reactions and use of Tebowing “has seldom been equaled, mirroring, for example, the rate of adoption of the word Obamamania in early 2008.”

Tim struck the now famous pose after leading his team, the Denver Broncos to a come-from-behind overtime victory over the Miami Dolphins in October.

Another website Tebowing.com has posted photos of fans and celebrities Tebowing. We told you recently that sports songwriter Ryan Parker wrote a tribute to the quarterbacks pose.

Seems that Tebowing is here to stay!
