The second-half of the 2012 MLB seasonis officially underway, and my apologies for the rankings being a day late this week.
The New York Yankees were the best team in baseball before the All-Star Break and they still are as they took the first two games from the red-hot Los Angeles Angels and are looking to sweep tomorrow.
The Rangers are hanging in there but if GM Nolan Ryan doesn’t get them some starting pitching help this team will fall as fast as they rose at the beginning of the season.
The biggest losers this season are the Philadelphia Phillies who have no fight in them, which is not going over well with Philly fans who still fill Citizens Bank hoping for a miracle. Well, there is still time as this team has made a late season run before but it will have to be soon and absolutely enormous.
Now, I am sure all the Yankees haters are loving that the Bombers are once again at the top of my list.
Here are LLP‘s power rankings for week 14 or at the start of the second-half.
ENJOY!!
